Love Blooming — A Story of Finding My Own Strength  (“मराठीत वाचण्यासाठी खाली पाहा ↓”खाली संपूर्ण मराठी आवृत्ती दिली आहे.)

Love Blooming began with something I experienced in my own life: how easily a woman can lose touch with herself while trying to fulfil everyone else’s expectations.

I loved designing and wanted to build a career around it. Before marriage, I enrolled in an interior-design course. But with one year still remaining, my circumstances changed, and without the support I needed, I could not complete it.

My education stopped there, but my love for design stayed with me.

When I looked back, I remembered the young woman who had worked, paid for her own education, and gone to night college. That woman was still within me.

I had invested in myself once. I could do it again.

In 2023, I enrolled in fashion design. Alongside my school-teaching work and many responsibilities, I returned to learning and completed my course.

Today, I hold a fashion-design diploma in my hands. It represents more than a qualification. It reminds me that a dream can find a new path—and that I can draw strength from my own journey.

I hope to pursue a master’s degree too. If this work around reflection and reminders develops meaningfully and helps others, I would love to explore it through future research, perhaps even as a PhD topic.

Those are dreams I am growing towards. Love Blooming is the step I am taking today.

Later, motherhood brought another change—from being a working woman to becoming a homemaker and focusing on my son. I valued that responsibility. Yet hearing that I was not capable enough or not earning enough made me question how a woman’s contribution is recognised.

From the outside, a life can look complete. Inside, a woman may still feel unheard, restricted, and disconnected from her ambitions. I know that feeling.

What helped me was my belief in myself and a teaching my Anirudha Bapu often shared: सिंहावलोकन—look back and reflect on your journey.

For me, reflection meant acknowledging my mistakes, forgiving myself, learning, and recognising what I had already overcome. It helped me see that an unfinished dream did not mean I had lost my ability.

My strength was still there. I needed to reconnect with it.

During my years of focusing on my son, I also read about Jijamata. I wanted to understand the conviction, patience, and vision behind her role in shaping Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Her story became a profound inspiration for me. In her, I see an expression of motherly strength and Shakti. It also made me question why we ask so much of mothers while giving so little attention to the support they need.

Everyone admires the result. But the care, work, sacrifices, and support behind that result deserve recognition too.

Through these experiences, I began to understand women’s strength more deeply—and the importance of small reminders that help us remember it.

For me, one of those reminders was a hair accessory.

As a homemaker, I had limited financial resources. From the outside, my life looked settled and complete. Yet I was still struggling to earn and have money of my own. My circumstances were not always favourable.

Whenever I wanted to do something for myself—to bring myself a little happiness—I chose beautiful, thoughtfully designed hair clips. They were within my budget, and their colours and designs brought me a feeling of freshness and joy.

“I could buy something this beautiful for myself.” That small satisfaction meant so much to me.

I looked for good quality at a price I could afford, so those clips stayed with me for a long time. Wearing them gave me the happiness of having chosen something for myself—a small reminder to make room for my own joy while caring for everyone else.

When buying something for myself felt difficult to justify, a beautiful hair clip was a small choice I could make for my own happiness. I looked for quality because I wanted that little purchase to last.

Tying my hair also became a practical moment of gathering myself. Before work, responsibilities, or a new challenge, I would arrange my hair and feel ready to begin.

That everyday gesture became the meaning behind “Tie your confidence.”

Flowers were already woven into my life. Whether I chose earrings, a watch, or something to celebrate an achievement, I often found myself drawn to a flower motif.

So choosing flower-inspired accessories for Love Blooming was intentional. I wanted to bring together my love for design and a message I had lived.

A flower’s journey is influenced by the hands that hold it. A woman’s journey is influenced by the people around her too—but she also has hands, a voice, and choices of her own.

Through Love Blooming, I want that flower to become a familiar reminder:

You are capable. Your efforts matter. Remember your own strength.

When you see it, I hope you remember your journey—the challenges you faced, the people you cared for, the decisions you made, and the talents you still carry.

Your circumstances are your own. Another woman’s journey cannot measure your worth. We can support one another while honouring our different stories.

Hair accessories are where I have begun sharing this purpose. As Love Blooming grows, I hope to carry it into more accessories that accompany women through everyday life.

I cannot decide another woman’s path. But through something small and meaningful, I hope to remind her that she deserves a place in her own life.

Reflect on your journey. Reconnect with yourself. Take your next step.

Bloom the way you want, shine the way you are.

Keep Blooming, Love Blooming.

Love Blooming —

Love Blooming

Love Blooming

Keep Blooming, Love Blooming.
